ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The LaGrange College baseball team won 10-5 at North Carolina Wesleyan University in non-conference action on Sunday at Bauer Field in Rocky Mount, North Carlina. With the win, the Panthers complete the 3-0 series sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clinging to a 6-5 lead in the top of the ninth, LaGrange freshman right fielder Jacques King (Rincon, Ga.) stepped to the plate and hit a bases-clearing triple. King would score the final run of the game off a passed ball, securing the win.
- LaGrange freshman pitcher Aiden Pluff (Richmond Hill, Ga.) picked up the win on the mound for the Panthers, going six innings with five strikeouts, one hit and one earned run against.
- King had a bust-out game with four RBI on the day. King had earlier drawn a bases-loaded walk in the sixth inning,
- Senior first baseman hitter Curt Bonner (Cartersville, Ga.) went two-for-four with a walk, and RBI and a stolen base.
- Junior shortstop Michael DeFrancisco (Winder, Ga.) likewise went two-for-four with an RBI and a stolen base.
- Junior catcher Nicholas Ford (Canton, Ga.) went two-for-four with a triple, three runs scored and a walk.

- LaGrange is back on the field on Saturday when they host Oglethorpe in a 2:00 p.m. double-header.
