Devin Dowell (LaGrange, Ga.) scored 28 points to lead the LaGrange College men's basketball team to a 106-81 win against visiting Warren Wilson College in non-conference action on Thursday evening at the Mariotti Gymnasium in LaGrange, Georgia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers took a 53-40 lead into halftime before pulling away with a 22-4 run capped off with a three-pointer from junior guard Chadan Hamilton (Boaz, Ala.) with 9:14 to go in the game to go up by as much as 27.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Dowell, the Panthers' leading scorer this season, scored a career-high 28 points off 13-of-25 shooting with four steals, three rebounds and two assists in just 25 minutes.
- LaGrange junior guard Austen Colton (Sharpsburg, Ga.) poured in 27 points, burying seven three-pointers and coming away with four assists and two steals.
- LaGrange sophomore forward Kani Rashied-Henry (Tyrone, Ga.) filled the stat-line with 12 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and two assists while shooting five-of-six from the floor, all in just 17 minutes.
- LaGrange senior guard Micah McAllister (Newnan, Ga.) added eight points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.
- Warren Wilson junior guard Tajh Williams (Warner Robins, Ga.) led the Owls with 17 points and four rebounds. Junior guard Asheton Glass (Virginia Beach, Va.) added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists.
UP NEXT
- LaGrange is back on the court on Saturday when they travel to Asbury University for a 4:00 p.m. game in their regular season finale. With a win, the Panthers could clinch home-court advantage in the first round of next week's Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) playoffs.
