LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's soccer team secured a massive 1-0 victory at home over visiting Asbury University in Collegiate Conference of the South action on Saturday afternoon at Panther Field in LaGrange, Georgia. Junior forward
Roswell McCollum (Kennesaw, Ga.) scored his first goal of the season in the 6
th minute of play, a goal which would prove to be the game-winner.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange sophomore goalkeeper Braeden Hayes (St. Augustine, Fla.) tallied two crucial saves, earning the shutout victory to give his squad their first conference win.
- McCollum's goal gave LaGrange the lead early in the match, coming off an unbelievable short-side snipe that found the top right corner.
- Asbury's Tolan Beaty stood tall in net, posting four saves to keep the visitors in the game until the final whistle.
