PENSACOLA, Fla. - The LaGrange College men's soccer team opened the season with a draw at Pensacola Christian College in non-conference action on Saturday at Eagle Field in a 1-1 final from Pensacola.

MATCH SUMMARY

• After just five minutes had eclipsed in the contest, LaGrange senior forward Dylan Bailey (Marietta, Ga.) opened the scoring as he tallied the Panthers' first goal of the season. The goal was Bailey's career-fifth since joining the Panthers back in 2022.
• LaGrange sophomore goalkeeper Sawyer Williams (Johns Creek, Ga.) had a valiant showing on the night, denying five out of six Eagle shots on goal.
• Foul trouble plagued the Panthers' efforts to secure the win, as a penalty kick in the 72nd minute equalized the match. Both teams were unable to find the back of the net for the remainder of the game as the two found themselves in a deadlocked result, with the Panthers opening their season with a 0-0-1 record.

The Panthers will be back in action on Tuesday (Sep. 2) when they face off with the Eagles of Toccoa Falls College for a 5 p.m. kickoff at Panther Field.
