WILMORE, Ky. - LaGrange dropped both games of a CCS doubleheader to Asbury on Saturday. The Eagles won the first game, 5-2, then rallied for an 8-7 win in the second game to complete the sweep. The Panthers finished the regular season 18-20 overall and 8-8 in CCS play.

In the first game, the Panthers led 2-1 going into the bottom of the fifth inning. Zoe Veres drove in the first run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning and Breonn Newbille had an RBI double in the fifth.

The home run was Veres' fourth of the season, tying her with Ramsey for the team lead.
