Panthers drop conference bout against Methodist on Saturday

LAGRANGE, Ga. - The LaGrange College Men's Lacrosse Team (2-5, 2-3 USA South) were handed a tough loss by the Monarchs of Methodist University (7-5, 3-1 USA South) on Saturday afternoon (Mar. 29) by a final score of 16-4 from Callaway Stadium.

Game Summary
The Panthers enjoyed an electric start, drawing first blood as a Tyler Abrams rocket sent the entire LaGrange sideline into a roar of pure exhilaration. Nicholas Murciano netted the second goal of the game for LC in the following period off a Simon Belford assist. Belford notched a goal of his own in the third period, following right behind Candler Woods who tallied his goal just minutes earlier.

Panthers of the Game
Belford finished the game with two points off a respective goal and assist with three shots on goal for the freshman out of Kennesaw, Ga.

Goalie Jonah Polhemus racked up 23 saves off 39 shots on cage for the Panthers.
