MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - LC Women's Beach Volleyball went 0-3 in the 3rd-annual DIII Only Tournament in Mount Berry, Ga this weekend (Mar. 21-22). The tournament was hosted by Berry College, marking the first two tournaments hosted by Berry College with LaGrange College in the field, as they will travel back to the Vikings on April 11-12 for their second tournament. 

Match 1-3 Summary 
In match number one, LC faced off against Southern Virginia University. The Knights, out of Buena Vista, Virginia, secured the match win in a tight affair. LC only lost 3-2, with freshmen Julia Damico and Kaitlin Gilchrist earning the first of two points for the Panthers. After losing the first set, the duo came back to win set number two, and dominated the tiebreaker, winning 15-9. The other point, won by fellow freshmen Ella Kahikina and Claire Titus, wasn't enough to push LC over the edge.  

Matches two and three did not go LaGrange's way either. The Panthers were swept by the Vikings of Berry College, with LC failing to win a set against the hosts. Freshmen Isabella Zentkovich and Madeline Bullington came the closest, falling in the second set of their tilt 21-19. The final match against East Texas Baptist University was much of the same. The Tigers beat LC 4-1, with Rebecca Miranda and Emma Campbell taking a thrilling three-set match, winning 15-12 in the tie breaker.
