Due to inclement weather, the following tri-match against Asbury University and Wesleyan College has been moved to Sunday (Sept. 29) and will start at 2 p.m.

The LaGrange College Volleyball Team (3-9) is set to host Asbury University (5-4) and Wesleyan College (2-4) Saturday (Sept. 28) in a much-anticipated home tri-match of historic proportions.

The Matchup
The Panthers are coming off a heartbreaking 3-2 loss on Wednesday (Sept. 25) where they came within two points of taking down Huntingdon College on the road. They will feel especially confident heading into their match against a Wesleyan team that they have beaten 19 of the last 20 meetings. As for the Eagles of Asbury, the first meeting ever between the two schools is sure to be a memorable one in what LC hopes is a big win.

Wesleyan opened up conference play last week with a big 3-2 win over Agnes Scott. The Wolves have yet to secure a road win this season and will look to make good on at least one of the two opportunities to do so Saturday.

AU has had a very solid season thus far, bringing in the only winning record amongst the three teams. The Eagles will have their sights locked on securing two big victories in their first CCS matches in school history.

Players to Watch
Star freshman Ella Kahikina will be a major contributor for the Panthers on Saturday. She leads the team in kills with 113 so far on the season.

Zaysharae Malia-Hughes is a key defensive piece for the Wolves of Wesleyan. The senior DS leads the way for WC with 78 digs and 3.71 digs per set.

As for the Eagles, freshman OH Isabelle VandeSchraaf leads all three teams with 135 kills and 3.86 kills per set.
