Panthers first game ends in tie

Despite the Panthers creating countless scoring opportunities tonight (Sept. 1), the MUW Owls did just enough to hold onto the 0-0 tie. 

Game Details  
From the very first whistle, LC found ways to get shots on MUW. In the first half alone, the Panthers out-shot the host Owls 13-2 but the game remained scoreless going into the half. Haylei Hasan finished the half with a team-high five shots.

The second half mirrored the first to a tee. LC out-shot MUW 18-3 but nothing was getting past their goalkeeper. Alex Moon (MUW) ended up with 19 saves and Anna Wright also saved each shot that came her way (4). The game ended tied 0-0.

Haylei Hasan finished with a team-high seven shots with five on goal.
