Feyes named Head Golf Coach

Aaron Feyes was named today as the new Head Coach of the LaGrange College Men's and Women's Golf Teams.

Over the past 18 years, Feyes has served as the men's head golf coach at Andrew College in Cuthbert, Georgia. He also worked in the Enrollment Services Department as an admissions specialist for the last nine years.

Since 2012, seven players under Feyes were named to the Ping All-American Team, with three earning spots on the All-American Scholar Team. In 2013 and 2014, the Tigers made it to the NJCAA National Championship, claiming the No. 10 spot in 2014. In back-to-back seasons (2021-22 and 2022-23), the Andrew Men's Golf Team was named the GCAA All-Academic National Champions.

"Aaron brings great experience to the golf program at LaGrange College," said Vice President for Athletics and Recreation Terlynn Olds. "We're very pleased to have him lead our established men's team and our inaugural women's cohort."

Feyes said he was eager to become a Panther.

"I am excited to be a part of the future of LaGrange Men's and Women's Golf," he said. "Building on the program's longstanding tradition of excellence will be an honor."

In 2002, Feyes was elected as a member of the Professional Golfers' Association. This gave him the opportunity to play in the 2005 Knoxville Open alongside some of golf's biggest names, like Bubba Watson and Boo Weekley.

Prior to his stint in the PGA, Feyes spent four years in the United States Army and five years in the Georgia Army National Guard. He later went on to earn a B.A. in Business Administration from Shorter University in 1997.

Feyes has also served as the Assistant Fire Chief of the Clay County Volunteer Fire Department and was the former Commander of the American Legion Post 85.
