The LC Volleyball Team (4-10) is set to take on Belhaven University (5-7) in a key match at home Thursday (Oct. 3) as they continue conference play.

The Matchup
The Panthers enjoyed an excellent afternoon Sunday (Sept. 30), taking conference-best Asbury University to five sets in a 2-3 loss and then toppling Wesleyan College 3-0. This will be their second meeting with the Blazers this season, their first ending a 3-0 loss in Jackson, Miss.

As for the Blazers, a 3-0 conference record sits them atop the CCS alongside Asbury. BU has struggled on the road, however, losing all four away matches so far this season. They will be eyeing to turn the tide Wednesday against a LaGrange team that they have beaten the last three meetings, with a nine-set win streak on the line.

Players to Watch
Julia Damico was a shining star in the Panthers' tri-match against Asbury and Wesleyan, posting nine digs and 36 assists Sunday.

OH Megan LaCour leads the Blazers with 90 kills and 2.37 kills per set on the season.
