LaGrange's stellar 2018-10 season ended with a 5-3 loss to Averett in the USA South Tournament on Friday. The Panthers finished 11-4 and were second in the West Division with a 10-2 record. LC also had senior John Mitchell Benton named to the All-Conference first team. Benton was joined on the West Division first team by junior Will Thompson and sophomore Kyle Kelley.

Benton and Kelley won 8-6 in their #1 doubles match. Thompson and Caleb Edde won #2 doubles by the same score. LC led 2-1 after the doubles matches. Averett won four of the first five singles matches to clinch the match. Benton lost in three sets at #2 singles, while Kelley won his #4 singles match.
