DEMOREST, Ga. - Freshman Lauren Sanders recorded a double-double in LaGrange's USA South match at Piedmont on Tuesday.

Sanders had 34 assists and 15 digs in the Panthers' 3-1 loss to the Lady Lions. Piedmont took the first set 25-15, then the Panthers tied the match with a 25-16 second set win. The Lady Lions took the third set 25-18 and edged the Panthers 25-22 in the fourth set to close out the match.

Lexi Hall and Maggie Ivester each had nine kills for the Panthers. Ivester added 12 digs, while Aspen Coggins led the team with 18.

The Panthers host NCAA Division II member Stillman on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Richter Gym.
