Box Score MARYVILLE, Tenn. - Maryville pulled away in the second half to down LaGrange 48-17 on Saturday at Honaker Field in a USA South matchup.

Scots upped their record to 3-2 for the season and 2-1 in the USA South.
The Panthers took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter on a 20-yard field goal by Will Jeffcoat. Maryville answered with two scoring drives to go up 13-3.
The Panthers put together a 12-play 70 yard scoring drive to make it 13-10. Graham Craig's 20-yard touchdown pass to Griffin Roelle capped the drive.
Trailing 20-10, the Panthers got within three points for the second time. Seqouh Humes scored from the 3 to finish a 75-yard drive with 1:52 left in the half.
But Maryville used a long kick return to get good field position and scored with 26 seconds left in the half make it a 10 point game, 27-17, at halftime.
The Scots controlled the second half. They added a touchdown in the third quarter, then two more in the fourth quarter for the 48-17 final.
Craig finished the game with 257 yards passing and the touchdown pass. Josh Hardrick had five catches for 80 yards.
The Panthers return to Callaway Stadium next Saturday to face N.C. Wesleyan in a USA South game. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
