Volleyball: Panthers close out 2013 season with two USA South matches

MARYVILLE, Tenn. - LaGrange closed out its 2013 season with two USA South matches Saturday. The Panthers lost to Covenant and Maryville by identical 3-0 scores.

The Panthers finished 11-20 overall for the season. They were 5-11 in USA South matches.

Freshman Sydney Marshall had a total of 12 kills in the two matches. Mary Katherine Schmitz had a total of 34 assists.

Seniors Hayley LaFontaine and Leslie Rhoades played in their final matches for the Panthers. They combined for almost 1,000 kills in their careers.
