The LaGrange volleyball team picked up its first win of the season, sweeping Huntingdon 3-0 on Saturday in a quad-match at the Callaway Education Building. The Panthers lost 3-0 to Covenant in their second match of the day.

The Panthers (1-6) beat the Hawks 25-20, 25-22 and 25-18. Hayley LaFontaine had 10 kills, while Nicole Wilson added nine. Erin McKinstry had 28 assists and Ella Weymiller added 17 digs.

Covenant swept the Panthers 25-13, 25-14 and 25-13. Destinee Briskey led the Panthers with six kills, while Wilson had five. McKinstry had 24 assists and Weymiller had 13 digs.

The Panthers play at Toccoa Falls on Tuesday.
