DECATUR, Ga. - LaGrange College improved to 3-1 with 3-0 sweeps of Wesleyan and Agnes Scott in a GSAC tri-match Saturday. The wins evened the Panthers overall record at 9-9 and upped their conference record to 3-1.

The Panthers defeated the Pioneers by scores of 25-5, 25-11 and 25-15. The Panthers completed the sweep with a 25-14, 25-20 and 25-15 win over the host Scotties.

Ashley Corona led the Panthers with 12 kills against Wesleyan. Katie Covington added eight kills, while Leslie Rhoades had an attack percentage of .875 with seven kills in eight attempts. Kristen Barton had 16 assists, while Crystal Colvin had 11 digs.

In the Agnes Scott match, Covington had 16 kills and a .577 attack percentage. Mary Ann Washichek added seven kills and 11 digs. Erin McKinstry had 27 assists and Colvin finished with a team-high 13 digs.

The Panthers host Emmanuel on Thursday and Brenau on Friday.
