Volleyball: Panthers sweep Judson for third straight win

LaGrange won its third straight match, sweeping Judson 3-0 in Richter Gymnasium on Monday. The Panthers moved over the .500 mark in improving to 10-9, while the Eagles fell to 4-8.

The Panthers had 16 service aces, most coming in a 25-4 first set win. Samantha James had seven aces in the match along with four kills. LC closed out the match with 25-14 and 24-23 wins in the next two sets.

Emily Arnold and Maggie Ivester combined for 15 kills, with Arnold leading the way with eight. Lauren Sanders had 19 assists.

The Panthers play Piedmont and Covenant in a USA South tri-match Saturday in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
