Volleyball: Panthers crush Wesleyan in USA South match for sixth straight win

MACON, Ga. - The LaGrange volleyball team crushed Wesleyan on Thursday in its USA South opener. The Panthers' 3-0 sweep was their sixth straight win to improve to 7-3.

The Panthers took the three sets by scores of 25-6, 25-5, and 25-10. LC had 36 kills in the match and recorded a season-high .397 attack percentage. In addition, the Panthers recorded a season-high 18 service aces without committing any service errors.

Maggie Ivester had match-highs of 14 kills and nine digs, while finishing with a .591 attack percentage. Jazzlyn Kenner added nine kills and two service aces. Maddie Payne had a match-high five service aces. Lauren Sanders had 18 assists, also a match high.

The Panthers host Covenant and Piedmont in USA South matches Saturday.
