Women's Soccer: Trinity Baptist pulls away to down Panthers 4-1

Trinity Baptist pulled away in the second half to down LaGrange 4-1 on Tuesday afternoon. The Panthers are now 0-3 on the season, while the visiting Eagles improved to 3-1.

LC trailed 2-0 at the half. The Panthers got their first goal of the season seven minutes into the second half. Kelsey Lewis sent a crossing pass to Lainey Bergeron. Bergeron beat goalkeeper Courtney Blanset for the goal to make it 2-1. The Eagles answered quickly to regain their two goal advantage and added an insurance goal in the 63rd minute for the 4-1 final. Panther goalkeeper DeAundra Green had four saves in the game.

The Panthers are on the road Saturday and Sunday for USA South contests against William Peace and Meredith in Raleigh, North Carolina.
