Women's Soccer: Panthers play Wesleyan to 1-1 tie in USA South match

MACON, Ga. - LaGrange got a late tying second half goal in a 1-1 tie at Wesleyan in a USA South match Saturday. It was the second straight conference draw for the Panthers, now 2-13-4 (0-10-3 USA South).

The host Wolves led 1-0 after the first half. The Panthers evened the score in the 87th minute as Ashley Jacobsen scored unassisted for her first goal of the season. The two teams each had a shot on goal in the overtime periods.

The Panthers out shot Wesleyan 9-4 in the match. Goalkeeper DeAundra Green had two saves for LC. 

The Panthers close out the season Sunday with a USA South match at Agnes Scott.
