LaGrange got goals from four different players in blanking visiting Judson 4-0 on Wednesday at Panther Field. The win was the first of the season for the Panthers, now 1-3-1.
Senior Sydney Aronson opened the scored six minutes into the match. She took a pass from Emilee Blue and fired a shot past Judson goalkeeper Chelsey Matmanivong for a 1-0 lead. It was Aronson' second goal of the season.
The Panthers took a 2-0 lead into halftime. Rachel Jenkins scored her first goal of the season when she blasted a corner kick into goal in the 20th minute of the half.
LC closed out the scoring with two more goals in a five-minute span in the second half. Taylor Poole's second goal of the season off an assist from Tori Henrichs accounted for the first of the two goals. Freshman Emma Echols got her first first collegiate goal for the final goal with Kelsey Lewis assisting on the play.
The Panthers open USA South play Saturday. They will host Wesleyan starting at 11 a.m.
