Men's Soccer: Trinity Baptist tops Panthers 3-1 in non-conference tilt

Visiting Trinity Baptist built a 3-0 lead and held off LaGrange for a 3-1 win Friday in a non-conference game. The Panthers are now 2-3-1, while the Eagles evened their record at 3-3.

The Eagles scored three minutes into the game and led 2-0 at halftime. They added to their lead with a goal in the 56th minute to go up 3-0. The Panthers trimmed the Eagles' lead to two goals in the 77th minute. Michael Bruno sent a crossing pass over to Errick Sturm, who put the ball in the back of the net for his team-leading sixth goal of the season. LC goalkeeper Cory Aycock had a season-high 10 saves in the game. 

The Panthers play at Pfeiffer (N.C.) on Saturday.
