Men's Soccer: Panthers, William Peace play to scoreless draw in USA South game

LaGrange and visiting William Peace played to a scoreless draw in a USA South game Sunday. The Panthers are now 2-2-1 after picking up a point in the conference standings.

LC had a 10-8 shot advantage in the game, including a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper Cory Aycock stopped three shots while getting his second shutout of the season.

The Panthers had three shots at the goal in the overtime period. Jonathan Mann's potential game-winning header went off the post with under five minutes left in regulation. Errick Sturm and Nick Huberty had shots on goal in the overtime period.

The Panthers host Trinity Baptist (Fla.) on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
