Men's Basketball: Panthers fall to No. 17 Susquehanna at HoopMIA D3 Holiday Shootout

MIAMI, Fla. - Nationally-ranked Susquehanna downed LaGrange 82-65 on Sunday at the HoopMIA D3 Holiday Shootout.

The Panthers (7-3) got 13 points off the bench from Jamison McCray. Elijah Adedoyin and Drew Vanderbrook each had 10 points. Duncan Parker had a career high 13 rebounds.

Steven Weidlich led Susquehanna (8-1) with a game-high 26 points. Ryan Traub added 18 points for the Eagles.

The Panthers led only once in the game. Vanderbrook's 3-pointer provided a 3-2 lead in the opening minutes. Jacob Gaetanos' two free throws tied the game for the last time, 5-5. The Eagles pulled away in the closing minutes of the first half for a 37-22 halftime lead. The Panthers never got closer than 14 points in the second half.

The Panthers take on Hartwick in their final game of the tournament beginning at 6 p.m.
