Fifth-ranked Rhodes edged the Panthers by one stroke for the team title. The Panthers trailed by as many as seven shots before staging a rally to finish the round at 291 for a 572 total. Tournament host Berry was a distant third, 24 shots back of the Panthers.
Theam shot a final round 2-under par 70 for a 135 total, three shots ahead of Lanier, who carded a 71 to finish at 138. Theam won his second collegiate title and first since his freshman year. He tied for 20th at last year's Chick-fil-A tournament.
Lanier closed out the fall with his third straight Top 5 finish. He tied for the individual title at the Royal Lakes/Oglethorpe Fall Invitational and last week was fourth at the Golfweek Fall Invitational.
