Golf: Panthers slip three spots in the standings at Division III Men's Golf Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The LaGrange golf team slipped three spots to 13th in the standings at the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships. The Panthers had a third round team score of 317 for a 926 tournament total.

"We played poorly today, we got off to a bad start and never recovered," Coach Lee Richter said. "We just need to put this day behind us and get ready for the final round Friday."

Logan Lanier started the day tied for second in the individual standings. He had a round of 78 and is tied for ninth with a 222 total heading into the final round, but only three shots out of first.

Osborn Theam had the Panthers' low round of the day with a five-over par 77. Lanier followed Theam, then Anthony Scolapio (80), Eric Havixbeck (82), and Alex Ball (87).
