Keep LaGrange College's successful athletics run going by supporting the Panther Club

During the last three academic years, LaGrange College athletic teams have played in seven NCAA national tournaments and won five USA South conference tournament championships. The success the coaches and student-athletes have enjoyed is due in large part to the support given by the Panther Club.
“It was surreal receiving our championship rings. All of our hard work had been rewarded,” says LaGrange College alumnus Jalen Butler ’15. Jalen was a member of the 2013-14 and 2014-15 USA South Conference Tournament Championship basketball teams, and he says that some of his fondest college memories involve the comradery he had with his teammates and coaches.

Since graduating, Jalen has accepted the role of graduate assistant men’s basketball coach at Armstrong State University in Savannah, Ga., where he is studying for a master’s in Professional Communication and Leadership.

Even though he has only been gone from the Hill for a short time, he finds it important to give back to LaGrange athletics.“I wanted to support the Panther Club because I understand how vital their support was to my college experience, and I want future Panthers to have great experiences, too,” he says.

The Panther Club is designed to relieve the financial strain of competing at the collegiate level, providing funding for things like travel gear, improved locker rooms, and conference championship rings.

You, too, can join the Panther Club to support student-athletes. Giving levels start at $50, but if you graduated within the last five years you get to join at $25. Click this link today, continue to be a team player. Visit to find out more about the benefits of being a Panther Club member.
